The problem

Empty positions shouldn't slow your business down.

What recruiting usually looks like

  • Low-quality applicants who do not meet the minimum
  • Candidates who never answer the phone
  • An overloaded recruiting team
  • Qualification failures found at orientation
  • Orientation no-shows
  • Empty trucks while the process drags
  • Slow hiring, poor follow-up

What My Work does about it

  • Targeted candidate acquisition in the markets you hire in
  • Qualification against your written job order
  • Recruiter follow-up until the candidate is seated
  • Pre-screening before you spend an hour on an interview
  • Application tracking and a hiring pipeline you can see
  • Reporting on where candidates drop off and why

Built for trucking

Not a generic staffing agency.

A generic agency matches keywords. We screen on the six things that decide whether a driver stays.

02

Your minimum and your window, applied consistently.

03

04

Route and home time

Local, regional, OTR, dedicated, team. Stated, not implied.

05

Pay structure

W2, 1099, owner operator. Candidates self-select before applying.

06

Questions

What fleet managers ask first.

How do you charge?

One placement fee per seated driver, set by the trailer, run type, minimum experience, employment type and driver record you require. The calculator on this site shows the fee and the reasoning before you talk to anyone. Five or more drivers in one order get 5% off, ten or more get 10%. In a team order, each team counts as one. The fee is agreed and locked before a candidate is submitted, and there is no fee for candidates you decline. We do not sell leads or driver data.

What is a job order?

A structured description of the position: pay, home time, equipment, route, requirements and the answers to the questions drivers ask on every call. You approve it in writing. Recruiters work from the signed job order, never from a verbal note.

How are candidates screened?

Against the requirements in your job order: CDL class, verifiable experience, endorsements, location and your MVR and history standards. Disclosures that need a human judgment, such as a DUI or another DOT-disqualifying offense, are raised only at the stage of hiring the law allows, routed to a person for review and never auto-rejected. You see the evidence next to each candidate.

What do you need from us to start?

The position details and a decision-maker who can approve candidates and confirm orientation seats within a couple of days. Drivers who wait past two days usually take the first date they get elsewhere.

Can you recruit in several states at once?

Yes. The hiring request asks for every state you hire in. Each market is worked as its own search with its own sources.
